City Council

The City Council serves as the legislative and policy-making body for the City of Canyon Lake, establishing policies and priorities that guide City programs, services and operations. Canyon Lake is governed by a five-member City Council elected by the community.  Each year, the City Council selects one of its members to serve as Mayor and another to serve as Mayor Pro Tem for a one-year term.  Together, the City Council works to address community needs, establish City priorities and make decisions that support the quality of life in Canyon Lake.
