Engineering

The City of Canyon Lake Contracts with Interwest Consulting Group for engineering services. Engineering handles all encroachment and hauling permits, as well as all stormwater issues. The Engineering Department works with the City's Building & Safety Department on necessary plan reviews.  

The department ensures that the City’s infrastructure is safe and available for the public, maintained in a proactive and cost-effective manner, and that all new investments into the infrastructure are strategically implemented to meet the City’s needs and standards. The Department also aims to shorten response time to customers and projects.
