The Canyon Lake Police Department offers the You Are Not Alone (YANA) program to support community members who live by themselves and would benefit from periodic wellness checks. The program is intended to promote safety, provide reassurance, and help identify situations where additional assistance or community resources may be beneficial.
The YANA program is available to individuals of any age. Many participants have limited mobility, are homebound, or have few regular social interactions. Visits provide an opportunity to monitor participants' well-being and enhance the quality of their lives.
