Join the City of Canyon Lake’s Memorial Weekend Flag Tradition! 🇺🇸
Each year, the City of Canyon Lake staff and volunteers come together to honor those who serve and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country by placing an American flag at every home in the community for Memorial Weekend. This long-standing tradition is a powerful way to show gratitude and unity, and we need your help to make it happen!
Volunteer to Help – Two Ways to Get Involved!
With 4,800 flags to prepare and place, this is a community-wide effort, and we invite you to join us in one or both of the following opportunities:
Flag Preparation – Ribbon Tying 🏅
Before we can place the flags, we need to attach ribbons to each one. Join us in the old library room at Canyon Lake City Hall (31516 Railroad Canyon Road) to help prepare the flags.

Flag Placement – Throughout the Community 🇺🇸
Help us place flags throughout the 53 designated zones in Canyon Lake! Every effort will be made to assign volunteers near their neighborhood or preferred zone.
