Divisions

Administration

Administration consists of a Chief of Police, Captain and a records clerk. The chief and his management team coordinate activities for the department, provide leadership, planning, and staffing.

Code Enforcement

The Community Service Officers are responsible for code compliance and enforcement of our municipal code within the city of Canyon Lake. Click Here to visit the Code Enforcement page for more information about code compliance, reporting concerns, and available resources.

Investigations

The Canyon Lake Police Department detective bureau is responsible for investigating misdemeanor and felony crimes and following up on missing persons and juvenile runaway cases.

Patrol

The Patrol Division is the largest in the organization and consists of Patrol Officers, Sergeants and Community Service Officers who are tasked with responding to calls for service and policing Canyon Lake 24/7, 365 days of the year.
