The Human Resources Department is responsible for providing the City of Canyon Lake with well-trained, motivated employees and maximizing employee potential through proactive, quality employee relations and individual development. Our mission is to provide high quality consultation and support in the selection, retention, and development of a motivated, well-qualified City workforce, by ensure City personnel actions are taken in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, while fostering a work environment which welcomes and supports diversity.

 

      

 
The Finance department is responsible for the systems and procedures that assure the sound and efficient functioning of the City's financial activities, which include financial reporting, assist in preparing the Annual Operating Budget, internal auditing, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, purchasing, and administration of all City funds and accounts. The Finance department is led by the City's Finance Director, Terry Shea, who is contracted from the accounting firm Rogers, Anderson, Malody and Scott, LLP.
