General Plan Housing Element

 

On February 9, 2022 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2022-09, amending the City of Canyon Lake General Plan Housing Element in accordance with State law (6th Cycle Housing Element update). The updated element was submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), who subsequently requested revisions.

 

On Monday August 8, 2022, the City Council held a Special City Council meeting to review the revised version of the housing element. The Council adopted Resolution No. 2022-47 approving Amendment 22-02, adopting the City's 6th Cycle Housing Element. The UPDATED housing element can be viewed by clicking the image below. The final document will be submitted to the HCD on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
