Replace Your Ride Incentive Program

Is your vehicle model year 2010 or older? You may be eligible for a rebate of up to $9,500 from the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) to replace your current gas-powered vehicle!  

Eligibility is based on location, household size, and income. If eligible, you may use your rebate toward an approved electric or hybrid vehicle or a gas-powered vehicle with a model year of 2017 or newer and a minimum fuel efficiency of 35 MPG. You may also use your rebate toward a minivan or pick-up truck with a minimum fuel efficiency of 21 MPG. Vehicles may be purchased from one of several participating dealerships in the region.

When you apply for this program, you will need to create an account and provide the following information:

• Copy of vehicle title
• Copy of valid California driver's license
• Household income
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• License plate number
• Make/model of your vehicle
